Corin Stortz

Head Coach 16 AA, 13 AA, Assistant Coach 18 AA Blue

Corin Stortz will be the Head Coach of 16 AA (2008) and 13 AA (2011) and an Assistant Coach of 18 AA Blue (2007) for the 2024-2025 season. Corin has been coaching with the Montclair Hockey Club for 9 years, coaching all age groups from Mites through Midget 18U. Recently he has led the Blues 2011 birth year to an NJYHL Peewee AA final and Atlantic District Affiliate Championship appearance. Additionally, Corin has coached the 2008 birth year to NJYHL playoffs each of the past 4 years and EJEPL playoffs at Bantam Minor and Peewee AA in 2021-2022 and 2020-2021, respectively.

Corin grew up playing youth hockey for the Montclair Blues from Mites through Midgets. In addition to being a lifelong member of the Montclair Hockey Club, Corin played high school hockey for St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City, NJ in the Gordon Conference. Following high school, he went on to attend The College of the Holy Cross. There he would play 4 years for the Crusaders in the ACHA Division II and serve as team captain and president of the club for 3 years.

In addition to head coaching two teams, Corin is the Hockey Director and Coaching Director for the Club. He will be working alongside all Blues coaches to ensure proper development of our players. Corin is also heavily involved through the season with weekly skills and conditioning practices for all teams.
